CSEEKER LIMITED (company number 08924049) is the organisation responsible for BookBSL and for personal information you send to us through an enquiry.

What information do we collect?
- Checklist answers: the BookBSL checklist runs in your browser. Your answers are not sent to cSeeker merely because you complete the checklist.
- Enquiries: if you choose to email cSeeker, we receive the information you include, which may include your name, contact details, booking date, venue, communication requirements and other information needed to respond.
- Basic usage statistics: BookBSL uses aggregate counters for page visits and key checklist actions. These counters are intended to show how the service is being used, not to build profiles about individual visitors.
- Technical information: web hosting and external services may receive normal connection information such as IP address, browser information and request time when your browser connects to them.
Why do we use personal information?
We use information to answer enquiries, prepare quotes, arrange requested communication support, administer bookings, keep appropriate business records, protect the service and understand how BookBSL is used so we can improve it.
Depending on the situation, our lawful basis may include taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving cSeeker and BookBSL.
Information about another person
If you send us information about a Deaf person, interpreter, colleague or attendee, please only share what is relevant to the booking and make sure you have an appropriate reason to provide it. Avoid including unnecessary medical or other sensitive details.
Who may receive information?
We may share relevant booking information with cSeeker staff, interpreters or communication professionals involved in arranging or delivering the requested service, and with service providers that help us operate our email, website or business systems. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
BookBSL currently uses an external counter service for aggregate usage counts. Checklist answers are not sent to that counter service.
How long do we keep information?
Checklist answers remain on the page while you use the checklist unless you choose to copy or email them. Enquiry and booking records are kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the booking, customer service, legal, tax, accounting, dispute or safeguarding purposes that apply.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or to object to certain uses. You can contact us at bookings@cseeker.co.uk.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.
Important: BookBSL is designed to collect only the information needed to prepare a communication-support enquiry. Please do not put unnecessary confidential or medical information into the checklist.
