2. What BookBSL does
BookBSL is an information and booking-preparation tool. It helps you think through the information normally needed for a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter or other communication-support enquiry.
BookBSL does not automatically reserve an interpreter, create a confirmed booking, guarantee availability or guarantee that a particular type or number of professionals will be appropriate.
3. Enquiries, quotes and bookings
- Sending an enquiry does not create a booking contract.
- A booking is only confirmed when cSeeker expressly confirms it and any applicable booking conditions are accepted.
- Quotes may depend on location, duration, preparation, travel, timing, specialist requirements, recording or livestreaming and professional availability.
- Separate cancellation, payment and service terms supplied with a quote or booking may apply and will take priority for that booking if they conflict with these website terms.
4. Your responsibility for the information you provide
Please provide information that is accurate and relevant. You should confirm the Deaf person's communication preference rather than making assumptions. If you share information about another person, you are responsible for having an appropriate reason to share it and for avoiding unnecessary confidential or sensitive information.
5. Information, data and legal guidance
The Data and Laws pages are provided as general information. We make reasonable efforts to use reliable sources and show source links, but statistics, registration figures and legislation can change.
Nothing on BookBSL is legal advice, medical advice or a substitute for advice about a specific case.
6. Availability and service changes
We may update, change, suspend or withdraw parts of BookBSL at any time. We do not promise that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
